Manchester Homebrew Club Vs Liverpool Homebrew Club!

There are few rivalries as fierce as Manchester v Liverpool and there is no exception when it comes to beer.

We will be going head to head on 5 styles, these being:

• IPA (any sort, above 5%)
• Mild
• Bitter
• Stout/Porter
• Experimental/Alternative/Other

The plan is to meet at Beer Nouveau (75 Temperance St) for 14:00. We will then go head to head on each style, with one beer being put forward per style from each club. The winner will be the club who wins the most styles! We hope to have a couple of impartials available to decide the winners of each style.

Following the comp we will do a pub crawl around Manchester.

Beers have already been decided so those who are bringing beer should know what to bring. Around 2 litres of each beer need to be taken along. This ensures that everyone will get to try a bit!

Feel free to bring along other halves/fellow beer nerds.
